I am currently working on my dissertation at Bath Spa University, which focuses on the etymology and
historical development of place names in the Bath and Bradford-on-Avon areas. My research is
exploring how factors such as geography, history, and culture have
influenced the evolution of these place names.

As I gather information for my dissertation, I'm particularly interested in any
lesser-known insights, local lore, or historical details that might not be widely available but could
provide valuable context to my study. Specifically, I'm looking for any unique historical anecdotes,
records, or knowledge from your collections or expertise
that might shed light on the more nuanced aspects of place name origins and changes in the region.
